this happened. a fireplace, or the start of one. and its IN the house. i will reserve judgement until i see if the masons showed back up today or not. that is how i grade the workers. you get points for just showing up. which speaks to how often somebody just doesn't even show.
and just a little more tile. i promise i will stop with the tile soon. it just looks so niiiiice.
and i started yet another project this weekend. refinishing my dining room table. its old. like real old. like 50 ish years old? so i decided the best thing for that, would be to take a hand sander to it. it needed it. plus somebody else wanted to charge me lots of monies to do it. so i figured the worst that could happen was that i could end up having to pay monies. so why not? its actually turning out pretty good. lets hope for the best here. there's not a whole lot that a hand sander, some stain and a beer can't make look better.
